Cover art by Moto Hagio, or Duran Duran album covers? You make the call.
I can’t believe the release date for Heart of Thomas has been pushed back to January 2013. That howl of despair you’re hearing? That’s me, expressing my frustration. In the meantime, I’m consoling myself with some images from the manga.
Since I’m on a Moto Hagio kick right now, here’s a lovely image from her sci-fi epic Marginal (1985-87).
Images from Moto Hagio’s adaptation of 10 Billion Days and 100 Billion Nights.
Your daily dose of Moto Hagio. You’re welcome.
Did you know that Moto Hagio did a manga adaptation of Ryu Mitsuse’s sci-fi classic 10 Billion Days and 100 Billion Nights? Me neither, but these images are really striking. I’d buy it on the strength of these images alone.

At the top of my must-read list for 2012! (Cover art via bloodsuckeroni.)
Dear Manga Publishers: Someone needs to rescue They Were Eleven from licensing purgatory. It’s short but seriously awesome.
